4th of July Fireworks in Westchester 2024
Summer has officially begun, and July is practically here, so we’re ready to start our 4th of July plans! In Westchester, we love having family barbecues, heading to the local pools and beaches, or spending a day at the park with the entire family on the 4th. But fireworks are a universal way to close out any 4th of July. This year’s fireworks will be happening throughout Westchester. Below is our list of fireworks happening throughout the county this year.

Pierson Park Tarrytown
Head to Pierson Park for a day full of family fun this 4th of July. Beginning at 5:00 pm, Pierson Park will have transformed into a 4th of July party with food trucks, a kid’s fun zone with face painting, glitter tattoos, and a bouncy castle. The night will end with a fireworks show that begins after dark. Tarrytown recommends that families use public transportation as there is expected to be heavy traffic after the festivities. 238 W Main St, Tarrytown, NY 10591
Town of Somers Independence Day Celebration
The Somers Independence Day Celebration at Reis Park is happening on Wednesday, July 3rd, starting at 5:00 pm. This event is being held by the Town of Somers, Somers Lions Club, and Somers Chamber of Commerce. Families can stop by and enjoy a basketball tournament, a hot dog eating contest, the famous Somers Lions BBQ, refreshments at the Reis Park Concession Stand, and even some town-sponsored axe throwing. Mamaroneck Fireman’s Carnival
The Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department is hosting its annual Firemen’s Carnival at Harbor Island Park from Thursday, June 27th to Saturday, July 6th, 2024. The event is packed with family fun, including thrilling carnival rides suitable for all ages, delicious festival food and treats, carnival games with prizes, and more.
Key attractions include the Fireman’s Parade on June 28th at 7:00 pm, running along Mamaroneck Ave to Harbor Island Park, and a spectacular fireworks display on July 4th at 9:15 pm (Rain date for the fireworks is July 5th). The carnival will run from 6:45 pm to 11:30 pm every day. Music Fest and Fireworks Valhalla
The annual Music Fest & Fireworks, sponsored by Captain Lawrence Brewing Company and Westchester Parks Foundation, will be held at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla on July 3, 2024. Enjoy pre-concert entertainment starting at 5:00 pm, followed by fireworks around 9:00 pm. Admission and parking are free. Carpooling or public transport is recommended. Families can bring lawn chairs or blankets; feel free to bring a picnic. A new Tailgate Party will also be sponsored by Bruni & Campisi at Clove Road Field from 6:45 pm to 8:45 pm. Spark the Sound New Rochelle
The “Spark the Sound” celebration in New Rochelle will be held on July 4th at 9:00 pm at Joe Curtis Five Islands Park, with the staging area on Harrison Island. 24th Annual Fireworks Spectacular Lewisboro
Get ready for a fun-filled day of entertainment and fireworks to celebrate Independence Day in Lewisboro on June 29th. All families are invited to show up and enjoy the festivities with their family, friends, and neighbors. Pound Ridge Annual Fireworks Celebration
Head to Town Park Fields for the annual Fireworks celebration in Pound Ridge on June 29th. The event begins at 4:00 pm and ends at 10:00 pm. Westchester Ave, Pound Ridge, NY 10576
Pops, Patriots, & Fireworks at Caramoor
Caramoor’s Independence Day fireworks show is returning this summer. The Westchester Symphonic Winds, joined by soloists from the Schwab Vocal Rising Stars program, will perform a selection of works that pay tribute to America’s independence. This includes renditions of Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture and Sousa’s Stars and Stripes Forever. The evening will end with a dazzling fireworks display on the Caramoor grounds. White Plains Independence Day Celebration
The Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 2nd, will be an exciting night for all families. The event will feature entertainment, rides, delicious food, and fireworks. Families can also enjoy music by Stolen Moments Entertainment. White Plains High School
Beach Party Celebration at The Barley Beach House
Celebrate Independence Day with a fireworks show at The Barley Beach House. This Beach party celebration offers spectacular fireworks, Hawaiian dance/fire shows, live music, and a roasted chicken buffet. Tickets are $40, with free entry for kids under three. Playland Fireworks
Families can enjoy a fantastic display of fireworks on Friday and Saturday nights at 9:00 pm starting from June 28th. There are also annual holiday fireworks for the 4th of July that begin at 9:00 pm.
Ossining RiverJam 2024
The Louis Engel Waterfront Park will host bands every Friday at 7:00 pm from July 3rd to August 23rd. Sunday concerts at 5:00 pm will be held in case of rain. The event will showcase local performers across various music genres. Families are encouraged to bring blankets or foldable chairs. Picnics are welcome, and food, craft beer, and wine will be available for purchase from food trucks and tents.
