Your awesome Westchester weekend is here! This weekend is packed with free activities at many local libraries, and an event the Apple Store where kids can learn how to create their own emojis. There’s also classes for teens, live theater, a free clay class, and some Martin Luther King Jr. Day events! The Legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Enjoy this free, interactive workshop for kids ages 10 and up. Kids will learn about his legacy, meet spoken word artist Giovanni Green, and create their personal statement of power. Balsam Crafts
While Christmas is over, the medicinal and decorative uses of balsam fir needles are ever-lasting! Enjoy a morning making balsam pillows, tea, and other crafts at the Farm. Did you know that you can make your own maple syrup right in your backyard? Visit the Farm to learn about the equipment you will need, identifying sugar maples in all seasons, the right way to tap trees, and how to turn sap from maples in your yard into syrup on your pancakes!
