Thursday, June 27th

Movie Night at Ridge Hill

Summertime in Westchester means Ridge Hill becomes a space of outdoor family fun. One of the best experiences to hit Ridge Hill is its Movie Night, which is back again to kick off the summer fun under the sun. Bring the entire family to the South Lawn and get cozy as they play childhood classics and favorites this year. Catch The Lion King this week. Seating is first come, first serve, and families are encouraged to bring additional blankets and lawn chairs for seating. Firefly Festival

Westchester County Parks is kicking off summer with a Firefly Festival at Trailside Nature Museum. Families are invited to start the summer season with games, face painting, music, food, and firefly catching in the meadow. Tickets are $15 per person. Summer Pirate Treasure Hunt

Head to Pelham for a family-friendly summer pirate-themed party on June 28th from 2 pm – 6 pm at Studio on the Ave in Pelham. Families will be greeted with challenge stations, including a water and sand search, an obstacle course, and more. Kidz Bop Live

Get ready for an unforgettable experience at KIDZ BOP LIVE 2024 in Stamford! Families will enjoy new songs, choreography, special effects, and more at the event. Film Screening & Discussion – “Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe”

Scarsdale residents and fans of the hit book Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe are invited to a special film screening and discussion at the Scarsdale library this weekend. This event is part of the library’s celebration of Pride Month, showcasing queer stories and LGBT actors and screenwriters in American cinema. White Plains Road Farmers Market & DOT NYC Open Streets

International Mud Day

International Mud Day is scheduled for Saturday, June 29th, from 10 am to 4 pm at the Outdoor Discovery Campus in Cornwall. Admission is free for members and $5 for non-members aged three and up—children under two years old enter for free. Families can look forward to a fun day of playing in the mud at Grasshopper Grove to welcome summer. Families are advised to bring a towel, a change of clothes, and their imagination. Sunday, June 30th

Bicycle Sundays

Another Bicycle Sunday in Westchester this weekend. Enjoy a 6.5-mile stretch of the historic Bronx River Parkway, opened to non-motorized traffic on select Sundays from May to October. Rules include lane usage, helmet requirements, and restrictions on certain activities. All participants must be off the parkway by 1:50 pm.
