CLASSIC FUN
Playland has been providing amusement to local residents since 1928. There are more than 50 rides for children, youngsters and adults, free entertainment, beach, pool, boardwalk and pier, lake boating, picnic area, mini golf and indoor ice-skating. Fireworks are displayed every Wednesday and Friday evening during July and August.

THRILLS & CHILLS
This summer Six Flags debuts El Diablo, a new spiraling roller coaster featuring a seven-story loop. Add that to the rest of the thrilling rides and you have a recipe for fun. But there are also family rides such as the classic 150-foot Ferris wheel, Air Jumbo and Enchanted Teacups. There are plenty of other rides just for little kids as well as entertainment throughout the day.

WATER TOO!
This summer Quassy celebrates their 107th year. Families find affordable fun at this amusement park that also offers water fun! Enjoy the award winning rollercoaster and then get drenched on the slides and raft rides. The Quassy Quest Laser Maze offers a state-of-the-art challenge. Quassy Zoo, a play area for the youngest set, houses fiberglass “animals” that kids love to play with and around.

STUDENTS REWARDED
Students can bring in one of their 2015 report cards and get free rides. Ride credits are given depending on grade. Try the Thunderbolt, an extreme thrill ride offering a furious two-minute rolling adventure that begins with a 90-degree vertical drop. In all there are 29 rides and when you have finished with the Park head over to the Coney Island Boardwalk for more fun.
