Specializing in old-fashioned American desserts, Buttercup features cupcakes ($2.25 each) and layer cakes such as Apple Walnut ($32, two layer 9”) and the Lady Baltimore Cake, an almond-flavored white cake filled with coconut, candied cherries, cookie crumbs and almonds.
