And that’s exactly what the Wallauer family did. One hundred years ago, Co-founder Clarence Wallauer gave up his job as a paint salesman and opened the very first Wallauer store. After suffering a stroke, he invited his son-in-law Bob Duncan Sr. to help out. In the 1950s, grandson Bob Duncan Jr. came on board and officially took over in 1982. Now retired, he passed it along to his two daughters, Donna and Debbie Duncan. Did you follow that family tree? If not, you get the vibe: family, family, family, oh, and more family!
