Is there anything more simple or elegant than berries and chocolate? If you are looking for the perfect treat to make for your Valentine, or a fun project to do with the kids, this is it.
Wilton has many different candy cup molds. You can purchase them at the Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store in Scarsdale or Peekskill as well as Michaels in Pelham Manor, Port Chester, Mohegan Lake and Hartsdale.
I used Guittard semi-sweet chocolate and melted it at 30-second intervals in the microwave. The key to melting chocolate is to stir between each interval and stop heating before all of the chocolate is completely melted. Once you get to the point that
the heated chocolate melts the rest, just by stirring it in, you are good.
After you pour the chocolate into the molds, refrigerate them for one hour, pop them out and fill them with any berries you like. You can put some whipped cream on the plate too. It’s so easy, I don’t even need to write a recipe.
