Our kids are more digitally-connected than ever! Incredibly, being connected to a phone or computer has always part of their lives. They can easily pick up new apps, games, and even understand how to use technology more than we do. Channel their love of technology and computers by taking a technology class. Below, you’ll find classes that include robotics, coding, gaming, animations, programming, AI, and much more. Fun and immersive, they will learn how to develop and further expand their technological skills.

Coding at SUNY Westchester Peekskill

Find coding for kids classes via SUNY Westchester’s youth arts and technology program. In this class, kids will have the opportunity to learn coding sequences as they control robots and gaming interfaces. Additionally, students (ages 7-11 years old) will code stories, animations, and games.

Robotics at SUNY Westchester Peekskill

Kids can also learn more about coding and robotics. Students (ages 9-15 years old) will learn how to create robots that move, make sounds, and display lights using technology. In addition to coding, students will learn robotics, electronics, and 3D printing.

Tech Revolution STEM Summer Camps at Pace University

This immersive summer camp focuses on STEM-based learning for kids ages 6-14 years old. Incredibly, this includes a focus on robotics, coding, game design, Minecraft, Roblox, YouTube, Digital Art, Spy Tech, STEM & Medicine, and more! STEM Alliance

Take a range of STEM classes from this local non-profit. Here, you can find science, math, technology, and engineering classes. In Westchester, you can also check out STEM-tastic 2024, an annual event with hands-on and immersive activities. Additionally, they offer digital mentoring to kids (ages K-12), pop-up workshops, and workshops for girls.Finally, they offer after-school in Mamaroneck School District, and much more. STEAM Works Studio

Learn robotics, animation, 3D printing, programming, and more at this STEAM-focused studio. They also offer scratch group classes with a focus on writing code and designing games. Classes are taught both online and in-person. 700 Central Park Avenue, Scarsdale, NY, 10583.

Coding Camp 

The Harvey School offers a range of programs for the summer, including an immersive coding camp. This week-long camp includes an introduction to the world of artificial intelligence. Kids will use new technologies such as ChatGPT and DALL-E. Here, they will create games in Scratch to advanced Shortcuts on the iPhone. Educational and fun, kids will learn how to use AI to create projects. Camp is held from July 17th-July 21st from 9:00am-12:00pm. 260 Jay Street, Katonah, NY 10536.

Summer Tech Camp

Held at Purchase College, this camp focuses on teaching kids all things related to technology. This includes 3D printing, 2D animation, java coding, Python programming, and much more. Code Ninjas

This Stamford-based computer and technology center offers a range of hands-on classes. This includes create for 8-14 year olds; JR for 5-7 year olds; and technology camps for ages 5-14. Programming allows kids to develop technology skills, create games, and solve a range of computer problems. Additionally, they offer a parent’s night out event where you can drop off your child for the evening as they master even more technology skills. Computer Adventures

This Westchester camp offers a range of technology programs for kids 6-16 years old. This includes a half-day and full-day option. Kids will enjoy 3D modeling, Roblox studio, artificial intelligence, arcade game, Lego Boost Robots, Scratch, and more.
