Fiddleheads (Throughout Westchester and Connecticut)

Fiddleheads is a-child focused school offering personalized cooking lessons to kids ages 3-18 years old. Through these hands-on classes, kids will learn more about ingredients, learn where food comes from, and develop a better understanding of kitchen science. Older kids learn basic techniques and more complicated methods to build confidence and independence in the kitchen. Current classes include teen winter cooking, cooks 3s, cooks 4s, and more. Gather Culinary (Yonkers)

Gather Culinary offers both a kids and adult cooking class. They have an after school program where kids learn kitchen safety, knife skills, cooking techniques, how to choose produce, how to read a recipe, and how to cook without recipes as well as table setting and etiquette. Nora’s Oven Works (Stamford)

Kate Sonders Solomon (Dobbs Ferry)

Kate Sonders Solomon teaches cooking classes to corporate clients, adults, and kids. The kids’ program includes hands-on classes that are both fun and educational. Kids will learn how to cook and appreciate healthy food at The Organic Teaching Kitchen! Kids learn blending, stirring, mixing, cooking, and baking organic whole foods. ZWILLING Cooking Studio (Pleasantville)

ZWILLING offers a creative collection of cooking classes for adults and family cooking classes, such as Family Time “Taste of the Middle East” and “Family Time” Home Made Pasta. In Taste of the Middle East, families and kids (ages 6 and up) can learn skills and techniques to make a Middle Eastern meal. This includes smoky baba ghanoush, meat skewers and more.
