Family Science Workshop: Nebula-in-a-Bubble Holiday Ornament

Storyteller Perry Ground: Stories of the People of the Longhouse

In honor of Native American Heritage Day, master storyteller Perry Ground from the Turtle Clan of the Onondaga Nation will present an interactive program focused on the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), one of the original inhabitants of present-day New York State. Families will have the opportunity to hear traditional Haudenosaunee stories that reflect their beliefs, customs, and history in the program titled “Stories from the People of the Longhouse.” The event is perfect for all ages. Grateful for Trees Canvas Bags
November 30 and December 1, 10 am – 1 pm
At 11:30 am, families are invited to the Gund Theater for a delightful celebration honoring trees, which provide essential shade, food, and oxygen. Families can participate in a creative activity where they print beautiful leaf designs onto reusable bags, showcasing their appreciation for nature. Holiday Kick-Off

Music for the Holidays

Holiday Puppet Show at the Orangetown Museum
