Harvey School
About Us
Parents looking for a middle- and high-school experience that personalizes an educational journey to be as unique as each individual student need look no further than The Harvey School, a college-preparatory school located on a beautiful 125-acre hilltop campus in Katonah, New York. At Harvey, helping students become their best selves has everything to do with trust and connecting with their teachers and peers. Here, taking advantage of the school’s small classes, engaging academic curriculum, competitive athletic program, focus on the arts, and emphasis on unlocking students’ potential, young people in grades 6 through 12 experience extraordinary personal and intellectual growth.
“The opportunities we get at Harvey are just so diverse. In the fall, you can do the musical, and be a baseball player in the spring. You’re not stuck with one sort of stereotypical group. You don’t have to just be an athlete, or the theater kid, the honors student or into robotics. You can be all of them.” Amanda ‘22.
Harvey’s diverse and welcoming community includes students from over 100 communities in New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey, and international students from many countries including Spain, Germany, Poland, China, and Lithuania. It is here, for more than 100 years, that students develop a passion for learning, trying new things, and discovering what fulfills them. Harvey equips students with everything they need to live meaningfully, happily, and successfully. Harvey students feel confident and challenged to become their best selves, in and out of the classroom.
