Anna Maria’s Wine Bar

This cozy restaurant is also a wine bar where you could enjoy wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks. Wines include a selection of natural, organic, and biodynamic wines, including sparkling wines, rose, chilled reds, white, and more. Pair your meal with one of their bites such as The B6 board with cheeses and a baguette and small bites. Ernie’s Wine & Cocktail Bar

Take 3 Wine Bar & Cafe
The new Take 3 Wine Bar, located at the Jacob Burns Film Center, is the perfect location for both a pre and/or post-movie bite. Designed by JBFC Board Member Laureen Barber, co-owner and designer of Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Take 3 offers movie-goers and visitors an elevated experience to enjoy gourmet bites and drinks.
We recently enjoyed sampling some bites as well as wine and beer to learn more about this innovative and fun concept and get a feel for the space. Incredibly, the curated menu included a range of hyper local and local bites. This includes a cheese plate and a charcuterie board featuring a selection of cheeses from Second Mouse Cheese. We also tried (and loved!) the mac and cheese. Additionally, find a daily soup and salad as well as sandwiches and soft pretzels.
For sweets, enjoy chocolate-covered pretzels from Posh Pretzels, gourmet popcorn, brownies, Rice Crispy treats, chocolate chip cookies, croissants from Balthazar, and much more. As for drinks, enjoy wine, beer, cider, soft drinks, hot chocolate, coffee, kombucha, and more. Locally, this includes beer from Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, Soul Brewing Company, and cider from Thompson’s Cider Mill.
Additionally, as you enjoy enjoy a bite and drinks be sure to check out an incredible collection of iconic movie posters from the private collection of Bill Gold. An exclusive exhibit curated by his widow and collaborator Susan Gold, the space is outfitted with one-of-a-kind original illustrations, alternate poster designs, and interesting behind-the-scenes stories spanning seven decades of iconic movie classics, from Casablanca to Mystic River. This will be on display at the Jane Peck Gallery, located next to Take 3, from now until August 31st.
The Take 3 Wine Bar & Cafe is open Thursdays from 4:00 to 10:00pm and Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 10:00pm.

For date nights, enjoy a range of movies and programming this spring. There is also the Restored & Rediscovered: A Film Preservation Series (May 13 -23) featuring newly-restored and rarely-seen films highlighting the work of film preservation.
Films featured in the series include Nancy Savoca’s Household Saints, Martin Scorsese’s Hugo, Edward Yang’s Mahjong, Michael Powell’s Peeping Tom, and Carol Reed’s The Third Man, along with impactful short films and documentaries from independent filmmakers all over the world. This includes screenings of Star Wars: A New Hope, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, and The Bikeriders. In June, enjoy JBFC’s annual Pride Parking Lot Party. This is in partnership with The LOFT: LGBTQ+ Community Center, Big Gay Hudson Valley, and Human Rights Campaign. The party continues at the Theater with a special opening night screening of the queer classic But I’m a Cheerleader(June 6), followed by several Pride-focused films throughout the month.
