Holiday Wish Express
The holiday magic is in the air and we are so excited for the lead up with all of the immersive holiday experiences. We recently enjoyed a magical walkthrough experience at the Holiday Wish Express in nearby Stamford. Centered around the captivating tale of Teddy’s Christmas Adventure, kids of all ages will enjoy an immersive holiday journey as they travel to the North Pole.
Located on the 5th floor of the Stamford Town Center, the experience immerses kids and families into the world of the North Pole. Starting with a virtual train ride, led by charismatic Train Conductor, kids are instantly on their way to the North Pole as they see an artic wonderland unfold.
After the train ride, you end up at Glacier Island. Here, you’ll see a collection of snow-capped looking white trees, sparkly lights, polar bears, and penguins. There is also a section where you can take stylized pictures ($10 per picture). I found this to be an easy way to snag a special holiday picture amongst a beautiful backdrop.
After this, you and your kids will walk through a luminescent starlit forest where you will see sparkly deer, rabbits, and the melodious raccoon family (they are mesmerizing!) Additionally, you’ll find benches throughout the space for pictures as well as spots by the trees and reindeers for holiday-themed selfies.
North Pole at Holiday Wish Express
One of our favorite areas was walking through the North Pole’s Main Street. A jubilant Mayor of the North Pole talked to us about the magic that can be found in each room as we poked our heads to look at Mrs. Claus’ she shed, a Nutcracker-filled room, Santa’s magical work shed, and more.
Every meticulously crafted themed room has so many micro details to admire. Keep a watchful eye on the details and craftmanship with someodes to pop-culture of the 90s/2000s such as a Friends poster in Santa’s room; Barbies from the past; and technology from the past in various rooms.
But the enchantment doesn’t end there. The experience also includes an interactive snowball fight that you can view in Teddy’s House of Sweets. Here, you’ll see a treasure trove of candies, toys, and the chance to adopt a Teddy.
There’s also a fun holiday-themed movie room where Home Alone was playing as well as Holiday Cocktail Lounge with fake food and fake cocktails. This led to an illuminated walk-through experience that was also fun for sparkly holiday pictures. The experience winds down as you end up in Santa’s Workshop where you’ll see scenes of elves and singing polar bears, leading a very pleasant Mrs. Claus who asked the kids what they wanted for Christmas.
The experience ends in the North Pole Mailroom where kids can write letters to Santa Claus and mail them before leaving the immersive holiday experience.

Tickets are $35.00 per adult and $25.00 per child. Additionally, the experience runs for 35 minutes and is appropriate for all ages.
