From winter wonderland to illuminating and magical walkthroughs, several local favorites are returning to Westchester this year to help bring in the cheer, and we’ve got a list of light show experiences that your family won’t want to miss.

Holiday Lane at American Christmas
Experience the magic of the holidays as you stroll through nine Christmas-themed areas brought to life with lights. Parents, bring your kid’s letter to Santa to drop in the Holiday Lane mailbox, meet reindeer at the Stable Express, and more. Explore the Elves’ Quarters, Santa’s Workshop, and the enchanting Arctic Cave. Lumina, hosted at Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard, offers a reimagined experience that goes beyond the traditional Festival of Lights. This magical evening is ideal for families, couples, and friends looking to create unforgettable memories under the stars. Holiday Lights on the Farm
Get into the holiday spirit by exploring Muscoot Farm in a festive new light. Families can interact with the animals in decorated barns, take part in holiday-themed activities, listen to music, and indulge in delicious food from various food trucks. Grand Holiday Illumination
Families are invited to experience a magical evening at Untermyer Gardens, where they can enjoy free admission to see a breathtaking display of over 100,000 sparkling lights. As you stroll through the beautifully lit pathways, your family can immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere, complemented by enchanting holiday music from various cultural traditions played by various speakers throughout the garden. Bronx Zoo Holiday Lights
The Bronx Zoo invites families to join in on a beloved holiday tradition from November 22nd to January 5th. During the evenings, the park transforms with stunning light displays, custom animal lanterns, and animated shows. Families can enjoy interactive features, such as glowing walls, shimmering flowers, and colorful stepping stones while taking in the holiday spirit. Westchester Drive-Thru Display
Westchester Winter Wonderland
Westchester’s Winter Wonderland is a family favorite with a 1.2-mile drive-thru experience featuring thousands of twinkling lights and various attractions, including elves, glittering angels, a 50-foot dove, dancing trees, and a 40-foot Christmas tree. This year’s new additions include the Ice Queen, who will create magical moments with all families, a 125-foot pixel wall displaying winter night sky scenes, and the OtoCast App for stories about the light displays. Peppermint Christmas
This annual holiday display has been held for 28 years. New Rochelle families can enjoy over 16,000 LED lights and 85 figurines, all set to holiday music, and take in all of the fun at Peppermint Christmas. The Peppermint Christmas display runs until January 5th. 96 Hill St, New Rochelle, NY 10801
Roy’s Christmas Land
Head to Harrison to experience a breathtaking holiday lights display curated by the talented Roy Aletti. This enchanting exhibit has a rich history, having started 40 years ago, and showcases an impressive collection that Roy has assembled over the decades. As you stroll through the spectacular display, families can enjoy a variety of holiday installations, including giant wooden soldiers standing guard, oversized Santas bringing holiday cheer, and whimsical reindeer that add a touch of magic. 50 Parsons St, Harrison, NY 10528
Keeler Christmas Light Display
Take a drive out to Putnam County to enjoy the Keeler Christmas Light Display. This stunning Christmas light display in Putnam features nearly 1 million lights, creating a spectacular scene just north of the Westchester border. This incredible display has been featured on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Flight.” This year, the Keelers are partnering with United for the Troops, accepting donations and making monetary contributions to support service members. Families can also order special shirts designed by Chris Gallello, which will be delivered directly to their homes. Bruschi Christmas features more than 30,000 lights carefully synchronized to music, ensuring a festive experience for the whole family.
