2024 International Women’s Day Events in Westchester and Beyond
Did you know that the first International Women’s Day was held in 1911? Not a specific organization or cause, International Women’s Day is a global day of collective activism and awareness. Additionally, it is a celebration of women’s equality as well as highlights the support and advancement of women.
The theme this year is ‘Inspire Inclusion’ with a focus on valuing women and their contributions to create a better world. Locally this could mean hiring women in leadership roles, supporting women/girls in choices about their health, promoting the artistic talents of women, and much more!
