Summer Fest 14 is a summer-long festival of free family activities, and features an Independence Day Celebration for the whole family. There’s a live performance from the NYC Swing Band, strolling entertainers, face painting and a fireworks display that can be seen from anywhere in the mall. 6-9:30pm July 3. Declaration of Independence.
Children are invited to this historic site to sign a replica of the Declaration of Independence. Celebrate Independence Day by seeing where Thomas Paine lived and learning a little colonial history. Fourth of July Hike.
This Independence Day-themed hike is actually on July 5, but participants are still celebrating our nation’s birth by discovering animals and plants found in the USA!
