Animal Studies Mini-Camp
In this school break, mini-break camp mini-campers join environmental educators to meet different live animals each day and learn how animals survive the cold of winter. Kids enjoy plenty of time hiking, playing outdoor games, hands-on activities, and crafts.
Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Art-Making Mini-Camp
It’s School’s Out Art’s In when kids drop-in to the Learning Center for unique artist-led projects where kids can make an artistic mess, experiment with new materials and practice unusual art-making techniques all inspired by the abstract expressionist works on view.

Environmental Mini-Camp
The Holi-Daze mini camp at Teatown lets kids explore nature with environmental educators. There will be hiking, crafts, outdoor adventures. Attend for a day or more. Full-day campers should take lunch.
Time: 9 a.m. to noon (ages 4-5), 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (ages 6 to 12)

Outdoor Fun & Art Mini-Camp
School-age kids partake in numerous activities in the School’s Out/ Studio’s In program, including walks on the aqueduct trail, outside play and a ton of art-making. A healthy snack is provided.

STEM Mini-Camp
Enjoy a day off from school at the DAE Winter Break Workshops for a half-day or full-day drop in. Students can explore 3D printing, coding, robotics, and more with the help of DAE mentors. All of their stations are 100% hands-on and focus on project-based learning, so students can create while they learn and collaborating with their peers. Full-day students should take a nut-free lunch.
