Mother’s Day Brunch Spots in Westchester

Although every day should be Mother’s Day, this year’s holiday falls on Sunday, May 8. This weekend! But don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. These special occasional restaurants in Westchester are ideal for a family brunch. (Some offer special menus for Mother’s Day so make sure you call ahead for a reservation asap.)

Sam’s of Gedney Way in White Plains serves contemporary yet casual American comfort food. Their brunch includes Dutch baby pancakes, huevos rancheros, cauliflower and truffle pizza, and a wide selection of wine, cocktails and mimosas.

Dubrovnik Restaurant in New Rochelle is a perfect choice for Mother’s Day. Order grilled calamari and soft-shell crabs and relax on the restaurant’s beautiful outdoor terraces or inside the grand dining space.

Le Provencal Bistro in Mamaroneck is a Mediterranean bistro which serves traditional French dishes in a charming dining room. Their prix fixe Mother’s Day menu includes favorites like eggs benedict and smoked salmon and is accompanied by a special kids’ menu.

Armonk’s The Beehive is also a kid-friendly restaurant, with a popular Mother’s Day brunch menu of standards like pancakes, waffles, French toast—plus eggs benedict every which way.

Apropos, a farm to table spot in Peekskill, offers a three-course prix fixe menu (served from 12-7 pm) which features ingredients from local Hudson Valley farms. There’s ricotta toast with morels and an arugula and strawberry salad with local goat cheese. Don’t miss the chocolate tart with warm vanilla cream.

Bread & Brine in Hastings is famous for its New England-style dishes like lobster rolls, clam chowder and baked clams. Splurge on a lobster grilled cheese and the luscious key lime pie mousse for brunch with mom. If it’s a nice day, dine in their outdoor space.
