One of our favorite ways to kick off the holiday season is to check out a production of “The Nutcracker.” There are many local productions of this beloved tale in and around Westchester, including shorter versions for younger kids, reimagined hip-hop versions, versions for those with sensory needs, and classic full-scale productions. This version of “The Nutcracker” is ideal for kids ages 3-8 years old. Central Park Dance Presents The Nutcracker (Port Chester)
Enjoy a production of “The Nutcracker” from Central Park Dance. This beloved classic features over 100 dancers from Central Park Dance and surrounding Westchester communities. Nutcracker Dream (Mamaroneck)
Families will love seeing Nutcracker Dream, which is inspired by the work of Marius Petipa and Rudolf Nureyev. Running at 90-minutes, this family-friendly adaptation was created by choreographer Carole Alexis, and performed by Westchester’s premier dance company Carole Alexis Ballet Theatre and Ballet des Amériques.
