National Food Day
Westchester celebrated National Food Day at Westchester County Center in White Plains. This family-friendly day, sponsored by Blythedale Children’s Hospital, Kohl’s Cares and Westchester County, included food demonstrations and tastings by celebrity chefs such as Missy Chase Lapine, aka The Sneaky Chef and author of The New York Times best-selling book The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies for Hiding Healthy Foods in Kinds’ Meals. The crowd enjoyed music, movement and exercise for kids, healthy living information and presentations and a farmers’ market.
