President’s Day Coloring (Yonkers)

Explore interesting facts about each of the presidents, and take some time to color a picture of your favorite one. Learn about their lives, achievements, and contributions to the country while having fun with art. One Larkin Center, Yonkers, NY 10701.

Presidents’ Day Revolutionary Walking Tour

This special 2.5-mile walking tour of downtown Yonkers offers a unique opportunity to celebrate President’s Day while exploring the area’s rich Revolutionary War history. Families will discover that George Washington and the Continental Army spent time in Yonkers and learn about British General Sir Henry Clinton’s use of Philipse Manor Hall as his headquarters. Presidents and Patriots (Norwalk)

Through captivating stories and interactive puppet performances, children will explore the childhood challenges and triumphs of two iconic leaders, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, while also discovering the courageous acts of teenage patriot Sybil Ludington. Families will gain insight into the significance of Washington’s coat, Lincoln’s book, and Ludington’s horse. School’s Out / Art’s In: Mixed Media Masterpiece

The KMA is hosting art workshops on Presidents’ Day at 10:00 am, 11:30 am, and 1:00 pm, inviting children ages 3-8 to attend with an adult, while those ages 9 and up can participate independently. Families will have the opportunity to explore oil pastels, collages, and printmaking, crafting colorful mixed-media masterpieces. It is strongly recommended that you register in advance. Saint Paul’s Church

In celebration of President’s Day, St. Paul’s is hosting an event featuring a 1:00 pm talk and re-enactment by renowned living historian Michael Grillo. Families will have the unique opportunity to engage with history through the theme “George Washington and the American Revolution.” This event promises to be both informative and inspiring, making it a must-attend for anyone interested in understanding the pivotal role of George Washington in shaping the nation. Presidents Day Mini-Camp (Ardsley)

The S.T.E.A.M. camps provide a fun and educational experience for students aged 6-13 during school breaks. Families will engage in activities such as coding, typing challenges, and design projects with ROBLOX and MINECRAFT characters.
