2024 Summer Concerts to Check out in Westchester

It’s not always easy to get into the city to check out some summer concerts. Luckily, there’s quite an impressive music scene going on in Westchester where you and your family can check out live jazz, up-and-coming artists, and even seasoned performers. Below, we’re sharing a list of what’s coming up this summer, including lots of free, outdoor shows. Keep it rocking!

Every Second Wednesday, May-August, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Rock The Block

Head to White Plains every second Wednesday of the month, beginning in May through August, for a fun night of live music, delicious food, family-friendly games, and more. May 8th will kick off the start of this debut concert series in White Plains, and families can start their summer with a fun night of Latin Soul with an opening number from White Plains High School’s Mariachi band, Juvenil Los Tigres, and hear music from musician and Westchester native Steven Salcedo. Admission is free, and the concert series will take place on Mamaroneck Ave. in downtown White Plains.

Scarsdale Music Festival

Get ready to rock out in Scarsdale this June at the Scarsdale Music Festival. The festival includes live music throughout the day, activities in the family fun zone, food from local food vendors, and a spirits tent and beer garden. Additionally, the family fun zone will include carnival games, face painters, arts and crafts, music, DIY and STEAM activities, sports, inflatables, and more!  Scarsdale Village Center, 1001 Post Road, Scarsdale, NY 10583.

Sleepy Hollow Music Festival

Families are invited to enjoy live music at Kingsland Point Park for the first-ever Sleepy Hollow Music Festival. This includes two stages, tons of food and drink options, and activities for kids. The line-up includes a stellar roster of bands such as the Cold War Kids, Danielle Ponder, The Nightingale All-Stars featuring John Popper; and The Verve Pipe. 2024 Summer Concert Series

Enjoy live music all summer long as a part of the Croton-on-Hudson’s waterfront concert series. Musicians include The Mike Risko Band,  The Bluechips, The 1-4-5s, The Loyales, Lotus, The British Rock Show, BaseCamp, and River of Dreams. Families are invited to bring a blanket as well as food to watch the concerts at Senasqua Park.

Yorktown Heights Summer Concert Series

Join the Yorktown Parks and Recreation Department and the Yorktown Lions Club for their free summer concert series. Concerts include live music from Probably Cause, Don Jovi – Bon Jovi Tribute, AM gold Yacht Rock, Showtime Dance Band, All Revved Up, and Rusty Spur. 23rd Annual Dobbs Ferry Summer Music Series

Bring a blanket, some chairs, and dinner and enjoy live jazz right at Waterfront Park in Dobbs Ferry. Performances and band names coming soon. Additionally, they host Jitterbugs Jam Sessions for kids. This weekly session includes jazz music and dance with educator Neal Spitzer before the concert. Saturday, July 13th
The Pleasantville Music Festival

Enjoy fun in the sun right in New York’s backyard at the Pleasantville Music Festival. Held on June 9th, the outdoor festival includes tons of activities for the kids, food, and a beer/wine garden for adults. The line-up includes Better Than Ezra, The Record Company, and The Wailers. Also appearing will be Brooklyn indie rocker-Margaret Glaspy and a band called N.E.D. (which stands for No Evidence of Disease). Additionally, the concert will feature Talon, an all-female alt rock band, Mojo & the Mayhem, Dead Tooth, Widely Grown, and The Collection.

Kenisco Dam Summer Concert Series

Kensico Dam Plaza is one cool spot to check out some live music. This summer, the line-up includes Garcia’s presents Dead Meat, The Nerds, Songs in the Attic, and Riots and SAGE. Be sure to bring snacks, chairs, and anything else you and your family need for a rockin’ night out. Tickets are $10 per person. 1 Bronx River Parkway Road, Valhalla, NY 10595.

Music in the Square

Enjoy live music in the Gazebo as a part of Armonk’s Music in the Square Summer concert series. This includes live jazz, music from School of Rock, and more! Armonk Square, 44 Bedford Road, Armonk, NY 10504.

Caramoor

Caramoor is the place to be over the summer for live music, sightseeing, walking, and even tea. They have quite an impressive summer line-up, including Lakecia Benjamin & Phoenix, Abeo Quartet, Chamber Fest, Summer Gala featuring Wynton Marsalis, the American Roots Festival, and much more. Emelin Theatre
