Halloween is the season when children dress up as scary ghosts or pretty princesses and enjoy collecting candy. While many children are lucky to have the luxury for such things, some children are not so blessed.

The program, which began in 1950, originally encouraged school children to decorate small milk cartons and carry them door-to-door as they went trick-or-treating. To date, the program has raised more than $175 million for children in need around the world providing them with immunizations, nutrition, clean water, protection and emergency relief.
For parents, this is a perfect way for your kids of all ages to get involved in community service. The beauty of the program is its simplicity. Simply order your orange Trick-or-Treat UNICEF boxes and collect small funds whenever possible, it will go a long way to help children in need.
