Playland is hosting its “Howl-O-Ween” Pet Parade to get into the Halloween spirit with our furry friends. Pet owners are invited to Playland’s beach and boardwalk to dress up their fur babies in their spookiest or silliest costumes, as well as show off their own creative outfits for a paws-itively adorable Halloween parade. Walter’s hot dog food truck will be parked on the boardwalk with tasty treats for all to enjoy.

Manual Cinema stitches together the Gothic tale of Frankenstein with the biography of the original novel’s author, Mary Shelley, to create an unexpected story about love, loss, and the beauty and horror of creation. To tell this haunting tale, the Chicago-based performance collective imaginatively combines shadow puppetry, cinematic techniques, sound effects, and live music — it’s like nothing else you’ve ever seen.
