Celebration of Local Women Artists at Yellow Studio’s One Year Anniversary!

Exciting news from Yellow Studio, an alternative art gallery/co-working space in Cross River, with their upcoming one-year anniversary celebration. With a goal to “increase the visibility of local and nearby women artists and their work,” the one-year anniversary will include a weekend of activations, including a community Art Fair featuring women artists.
True to their mission/ethos, this includes the opportunity for families to view art created by a talented roster of local female artists such as Allison Belolan, Carol Bouyoucos, Tricia Caracappa, Mary Ellis, Angela Fiammetta, Alissa Leigh, Jessica Miller, Jen Mullowney, Rebecca Rivard, Courtney Alan Rossy, and Julie Betts Testwuide.
During the Art Fair, guests can enjoy delicious food, coffee and the Yellow Studio smoothie from The Cafe at O2 Living Sanctuary. Families with young kids can also enjoy the Sensory Art Saturdays with pop art! kids on Saturday, June 10th from 11:00am-1:00pm. Designed for kids ages 1.5-five, this outdoor, immersive experience includes multi-sensory stations including a dry sensory bin, a playdough table, a makers project and a collaborative experience. They will also have an oversized canvas at the Art Fair where kids can leave their artistic mark.
Festivities kick-off on June 8th at 7:00pm with the Yellow Studio Art Fair – Preview Party & Anniversary Celebration, followed by the Yellow Studio Art Fair from June 9th-June 11th.

Preview Party: Thursday, June 8th at 7pm (Preview party tickets provides access to the Art Fair from June 9-11)
Art Fair: Friday, June 9th – Sunday, June 11th from 11:00am-4:00pm (Art Fair tickets provides access from Friday-Sunday. Guests may return to the Art Fair throughout the weekend)
