It’s the last weekend of 2022! Can you believe it? There are tons of ways to kick-off the new year (kid-style) with celebrations at several local libraries and museums. There’s also movies, family. hikes, and gingerbread house decorating that you and your family can enjoy this weekend!

First Day Hike 

Enjoy a fun family first day hike on the Walkway Over the Hudson. Families can meet at either the Poughkeepsie (61 Parker Avenue) or Highland (87 Haviland Road) entrances at 1:00pm. The walk from the gate to the Center Overlook is approximately 0.6 miles. A one-way trek across the Walkway is 1.28 miles. The bridge is flat and paved with no stairs required. This event is complimentary to attend and open to all.  No RSVP is required.
