We hope you’re having the best summer. With so many fun thing to do, we love how families can literally try something new every weekend – ranging from art to free concerts and movies – throughout the County. Read on to check out the scoop of what’s going on this weekend.

Slide City Waterpark

Enjoy a water adventure at Ridge Hill when Slide City Waterpark comes to town. Located in the North Parking Lot (across from Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse) the waterpark features over 15 inflatable slides and 75 inflatable attractions located in three sections including an air defying “Slingshot” and the three-story tall “Green Monster;” a two-story tall Hidden Jaguar, an over 100-foot long “Aqua Splash Water Obstacle Course,” and Lil Squirts Splashworks, Slide City’s dedicated area for smaller kids that features attractions with an obstacle slip-in-slide and a fun ball pit slide. AMC Summer Movie Camp

Enjoy a cool down with a summer movie with your kids as a part of AMC Summer Movie Camp. Saturday Summer Sings: Music Pepper Pot with Conroy Warren

Kids ages two and up and their families can enjoy live music at the New Rochelle Public Library. This includes traditional and contemporary children’s and cultural songs in the form of reggae, calypso, meringue, rock and roll and rhythm and blues. Family Day: Shades of Blue

Visit the Katonah Museum for a day of creative projects and art — centered around the color blue. This includes learning about the art of the cyanotype, creating blue-themed assemblages, drawing nature illustrations, and painting blue-toned landscapes. Author and illustrator Fiona Robinson will be on site to lead a unique “Blue Portrait Collage” activity using materials inspired by her book, The Bluest of Blues. Registration Requested.
