Bannerman Island Cruise and Walking Tour

STEM-Tastic 2023

The 7th Annual STEM-tastic Festival returns to Hommocks Middle School in Larchmont for an afternoon of STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering & Math. This free event includes hands-on activities for families and kids of all ages where they can learn, touch, do, create, build, and innovate. This includes using drones, LEGO challenges, robotics, exploring circuits with iCamp, exploring the science of sound with Bach To Rock, and much more with over 30 expert-led experiences. Hudson Valley Pirate Festival 2023

Enjoy this family-friendly with pirates! Families can enjoy a weekend of singing, dancing, sword fighting, vendors, food and beverages. Mermaids, Pirate Ships, Lots of Treasures to be found. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children 5-13 and children 4 and under are free. They are also offering a Mother’s Day Brunch on May 14th at 2pm. Free to all moms and $5 for family members. Catskill Cuisine Festival

Held at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival),  families can enjoy the beauty of the region with shopping, food, book signings, hands-on demos, music, family-friendly entertainment, and demos from celebrity chefs such as Alton Brown, Scott Conant, Alex Guarnaschelli, Marcus Samuelsson, and Geoffrey Zakarian. Hosted by Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association and Bethel Woods Center the event marks a fun fusion of food to highlight the gorgeous area with its scenic backdrop. Coined “Catskills Cuisine,” the event takes inspiration from local fare, farmers, and restaurants, featuring 20-25 chefs participating in tastings, demonstrations and hands-on experiences to immerse visitors in the county. Mother’s Day 5K

Bicycle Sundays

The popular Westchester County program Bicycle Sundays is back this spring! As the County’s longest running recreational program, Bicycle Sundays started in 1974 that quickly became a beloved County-wide activity. Through this program, Westchester residents and visitors can enjoy outdoor exercise while having access to the Bronx River Parkway — without any cars. Exit 22 at the Westchester County Center to Exit 4 at Scarsdale Road in Yonkers.
